Team Leader

Educational Qualification: XII pass (preferred)

Experience: 0-2 years

Age: 18 years

In this course, a candidate will learn about the responsibilities of a team leader, planning store sales, and reaching targets.

The course content will cover:

Customer satisfaction - that deals with customer queries about a product in a polite and professional manner. Participants will learn to assist customers from start to billing; good behaviour and good manners and using the right techniques for assisting customers in their choices of purchase.

Product supply and demand - in order to ensure that goods are available for sale; participants will learn how to manage a team so that goods are readily available on shelves and displayed appropriately; conduct a check on the products in order to ensure that the product is priced correctly and complies with quality standards.

Team supervision and team work - to allocate work to the team members and ensure that the team works effectively and as per instructions; the participants will learn how to instruct and handle a team and supervise their work; they will be instructed on identifying, preventing, and resolving conflict.

Business communication - is an essential aspect which involves speaking, writing, and listening. Participants will learn about the various means of communication, maintaining records, and developing relationships with colleagues and customers.

Maintain a healthy, safe, and secure environment - in order to prevent illness, accidents, fires, and security breaches. The participants will be instructed on the importance of good hygiene and health standards, both personal and in the work place; they will learn basic first aid procedures, dealing with hazards, evacuation procedures, and contacting relevant authorities/experts.

The training will cover all technical skills and soft skills; with particular emphasis on professional behaviour, etiquette, verbal and nonverbal communication.

The approach is interactive, where the participants learn by doing. The sessions will be theoretical as well as practical. On completing the training the candidate will be proficient in the skills required to be an effective team leader.
