Partnering with PMGDISHA to spread digitally literacy to India

Sona Yukti is now a PMGDISHA Training Partner

PMGDISHA, or Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan, has been envisioned as a scheme to spread digital literacy to rural India. Sona Yukti is proud to have been chosen as one of the training partners for this prestigious program by the Government of India.

PMG DISHA aims to make Prime Minister Modi’s vision of making “at least one person in every family digitally literate”. This is done through a comprehensive curriculum that covers everything from basic introduction to digital devices and the applications of the internet. It will also make them tech savvy in carrying out cashless transactions using the latest digital financial tools, using a digital locker, using online citizen support services, etc.

The PMGDISHA scheme envisions putting the power of the internet into the hands of the common man of India. The Gramin Digital Saksharta program has the objective of reaching out to nearly 6 crore rural people and 40% rural households by the year 2019.

Sona Yukti partners with PMGDISHA to make the NDLM (National Digital Literacy Mission) a success through its various training centers across the country. With an aim of reaching out to more than 250 million people in the next few years, Sona Yukti is set to redefine digital literacy education and help India stride into the 21st century with pride.
